2020 Vision
2020 Vision - Hobart Baptists growing together
The 2020 Vision Team, comprising representatives from most of the Baptist churches in the Hobart region, has spent the last 18 months developing a regional missional strategy which aims to grow Baptist church life in the Greater Hobart Region to 2,000 people attending 20 communities of faith by the year 2020.
The 2020 Vison Team have appointed Rev. Stephen Baxter as their Director to co-ordinate the implementation of the 2020 Vision strategies which were developed by the team under the guidance of Rev. Dr. David Jones. Stephen brings to the position a wealth of experience as a Pastor, business executive, mentor and educator and is considered to be an ideal candidate for the position.
